What does Oppo think about these wheels? When I bought the car, I planned on wearing out the first set of tires then getting new wheels, but now I’m thinking about keeping them. What say you?

IMO the design of the wheels is actually pretty cool, only thing is they seem tiny with the high beltline and tall hood. If you did go aftermarket were you thinking of getting a bigger size or just a different style?

I was thinking about going at least an inch bigger, if not two. I’m undecided on style though.

I’ve seen a lot of last-gen CTS’s on Velgen VMB5 and really liked how they looked; they come in 20’s which might fill out the wheel well a bit better. Of course if you wanted a more OE style you could always get the older CTS-V wheels as well:

Get some thinner (but sturdy sidewalled) tires? Thatll make them look a bit bigger. I like the wheels, they have a sporty look, but aren’t screaming LOOK AT ME.....why don’t you try to PlastiDip them, maybe try black or something?

Think those look better on the v than the v sport. Ive always kind of dug those turbi.e style rims they used to do on benzes, most notably the slr. Maybe ill try to find something like that.

Ive got black on the m3, and I think it looks good with the dark gray, but I kind of dig the gunmetal on the silver.

That does look nice. I have a ton of respect for tsws ever since I saw my buddy lose control of his vette and run up over the curb at 80 mph and come away with no wheel damage beyond some scuffs.

That’s actually my favorite version of the CTS - even more-so than the V because it’s just so low-key.

Yeah I dig it. It’s about right for a daily driver. Doesnt beg me to put the spurs to it every time I see open road, but the power is there when you want it.
